Pricing questions
Yes. Transcoding (converting your source video into adaptive bitrate formats) and delivery (CDN minutes served to viewers) are billed as separate line items. Storage (minutes kept on Gcore infrastructure) is also billed separately. The calculator shows a combined estimate.
Yes, both options are available for enterprise customers. For delivery, you can use a custom Gcore CDN resource billed per GB instead of the default per delivery minute. This gives full control over CDN configuration: custom domain, geo-blocking, IP allowlists, referrer validation, secure token authentication, and advanced caching rules — a good fit for geo-restricted content, premium video, or large traffic volumes where per-GB billing is more predictable. For Storage, enterprise customers can connect Gcore Object Storage with per-GB billing instead of the default per-minute model. Both options require enterprise setup. Transcoding remains charged per minute in all cases. Contact sales to discuss.
Storage is billed by your peak stored minutes in a calendar month — the maximum total duration of all videos stored at any point during that month. If you upload a 1,000-minute video and delete it after one day, that 1,000 minutes still counts toward your monthly storage peak. Deleting a video mid-month does not reduce the storage charge for that month.
